I made a booking on July 31st, 2026 for May 1st, 2026 but unfortunately I didn’t receive an email confirmation for either my consultation or hair appointment. I checked my inbox, junk and spam folders, but there was still nothing. Luckily, I had created a profile/account, so I was able to check my bookings there. I had also taken screenshots before creating my profile on the IOH website as proof that the bookings had gone through.

When I raised this with Irene, she was very professional, attentive and caring. She got back to me swiftly, looked into the issue and proposed new available dates for my appointments. I really appreciated how helpful and responsive she was.

I also really value the importance Irene placed on the consultation. I think this is an essential part of the process because it allows her and myself to have a better understanding of my individual hair care needs, the style I'd like to do, and what you should bring with to the appointment. She also recommends the best tips and advice for your hair, which I found really helpful.

I was also really happy with the results of my box braids. Irene was gentle and fast, and I was very pleased with how she handled my hair. I personally had no major difficulties with the take-down process, and I didn’t experience any hair loss or have any large amounts of glue or product left in my hair afterwards.

I’ve already been back for a wash, blow dry and set, and my scalp and hair look and feel so healthy! I’ll be back next month for a treatment and a trim, which I’m really looking forward to.

Overall, Irene has been an absolute God-send. She is approachable, patient and passionate about what she does, and you can genuinely tell that she takes pride in her work and cares about the health of her clients’ hair. I’m so happy I found her and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for someone who truly understands and cares for their hair. ❤️
